I pencil sketched and oil painted this composition based on two reference photos I took two days earlier. (I have yet to try physical oil paint.)
The subject came into the cafe, pretended to look at the menu on the wall, and sat down at a table to read a book.

Sketching refraction from a cup of water
Outside a company cafeteria someone left this cup of water which produced interesting light refraction in a late afternoon.

Fur shading + texturing exercise
A little mouse got trapped a few days ago in the garage.
This is relative easy to draw, as I can easily double the strokes for (fur) texturing and shading.
