I am starting to experiment with augmenting sketches with real objects.
Flipping through an old issue of a tabloid that I stumbled upon a few nights ago transported my memory back in time and also made me realize that how transient are position, power, and fame that people tend to chase at the present moment.
During the early morning on July 26 2021 I dreamed about raining outside.
I couldn’t figure out exactly how to visualize the dream until I recalled an earlier conceptual depiction of the inner yard right outside the window where I slept, and simply added the raindrops via an experimental motion brush feature of Adobe Fresco.
PS:
I thought about what the shape of the raindrops should be; streamlines for motion blur? According to this article, raindrops are spheres or buns but never teardrops.
If I ever go to a movie theater this year it would be for watching this one on a giant screen.
When one day AR glasses become as ubiquitous as smart phones under shared platforms like Android/iOS, AR face/cloth filters could supplement or even replace our physical makeup and attire, as already happening with virtual cameras during virtual meetings that I have been experimenting with recently.
I was sitting alone among rows and columns of chairs on a beach, with only a sling bag of cloth with me. The sky was grey, the air had a gentle breeze, and I felt very calm.
I did this quick motion experiment while working on a Fresco prototype, inspired by this source image.
