I hypothesized these newspaper “photos” of Genghis Khan via a IP-Adapter ComfyUI workflow that combines the structure of his portrait and the style of a real newspaper photo of my late grandfather.
(Their ancestral relationship could lend to some credibility of this experiment.)

Clover mites
I noticed these tiny red creatures crawling around on the concrete tiles, too tiny to be photographed by my cell phone camera. This is my attempt to draw and animate their appearances and motions.

趙媽媽的小孩吃冰淇淋
She bought some ice cream and ate it in front of a grand view behind the Ferry Building on a gorgeous sunny Sunday afternoon, and somehow I felt a bit impatient at the moment.
I realized what I had missed the next day and captured my feelings into this imaginative vector drawing.
Life is too short and time does not flow back; I should be more patient and present to enjoy every moment.

This is my attempt to visualize the taste upon the first bite of these grapes.

These are some (accidentally interesting) results produced as part of my day job.

The tall blonde man with one black shoe
This is an attempt to visualize the original sound track heard on the radio a while back via a combination of Adobe tools: rough sketch by Fresco serving as structure reference with cubism/surrealism styles for Firefly followed by layer editing via Photoshop and audio-driven animation via After Effects.

Total solar eclipse – before, during, after
Attempt with simplest possible vector graphics to depict the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024 that was not visible in my geographical location.

Woodpecker
I recorded a woodpecker pecking on a utility pole and would like to create an animated sketch in sync with the sound.
I started with a rough manual drawing by Adobe Fresco and used it as the structure reference for Adobe Firefly.
I then selected the bird as the foreground object into another layer and generatively filled the background via Photoshop.
I imported the psd file into After Effects and control the rotation of the bird via the sound of the captured video (following this example).
