Neural inceptionism art
I have decided to feed the art works by (or related to) my father, grandfather, great*** grandfathers, etc., to this neural network inceptionism code.
Below are some results. Each group consists of the original image, and the results amplified for low and high level neurons.

Apprenticeship in a Star Wars universe
The Jedi recruit those who are good enough.
They learn how to collaborate early on.
They graduate after passing tests, and let go otherwise.
They keep the universe in order most of the time.
The Sith recruits one (and only) who is the best.
He learns how to survive alone.
He graduates by defeating the master, or getting killed otherwise.
He remains low most of the time but eventually eliminates the entire Jedi order and conquers the whole universe.

To my future self
Even if you are 88 years old with terminal cancer lying in the middle of the Gobi desert while being pointed at by an AK47, you can still overcome every obstacle just like we always do.
That is all you need to remember.

Pedro turning into a werewolf
This is yet another vivid dream I had earlier this morning.
I was waiting in line for I3D electronic theater with Pedro, chatting with other folks happily.
All of a sudden, he bent over the floor and started to vomit.
His bones deformed, with nails were protruding out of his fingers.
One of the two bear-like eastern European guys standing around us bit off Pedro’s right index finger tip, and that settled him down.
The eastern European guy told me that my bite would not help, implying I am a vampire.

Why living forever is probably a bad idea
Even if under optimal physical, mental, and social status:
. It will eventually become very boring.
. One cannot participate in evolution and thus becomes inferior (barring technology like dynamic genetic splicing).
. If the universe eventually ends it will drag you down to some unknown horrible state.
Reincarnation, or some form of jumping between different intelligent species, seems much more fun.
