Pre-recorded video presentation
CHI 2022 provides this medium post about giving a remote presentation as well as different styles ranging from very simple to quite fancy:
- Slides with talking head
- Slides and voice over only
- Slides in a news like bubble
- Slides with a lot of post production
- Slides on VR presented in VR
Feel free to pick a style you like.
I would do voice over only as I try not to let people know what I look like, or even sound like via synthetic voice over.
But if you like people to know you and/or have the talk video better approximate an in-person conference presentation, consider showing your face.

Snowman
I designed this scene to combine swaying fallen leaves and rippling snows in an interesting way.

French easel
My first standing French easel drawing was in front of a bathroom mirror, blocking the entrance.

Portrait sketches
I found that faces with clear features (such as wrinkles and contours) are the easiest to sketch.
I did these during a mysterious internet outage today.

Morton salt girl – dogfooding with a can of salt
This little girl logo on salt containers inspired me to animate it with some dynamic graphical effects (lines for rain streaks, spheres for flowing salt particles and bouncing raindrops) enabled by some experimental features I have been working on for Fresco motion.

Twisted red bell pepper
I drew this digital oil painting on an iPad supported by a (newly purchased) French easel, with which I plan to try physical (pencil, oil, and acrylic) medium next.

Footprints in the yard
Some contractor left in the yard a trash bag containing some food, which was then attacked by some wild animal, probably raccoon(s) based on the damage and the footprints which in turn inspired this motion graphics.
