Yellow rose with red tints
We know how to represent light and sound but not smell, taste, and touch, probably because the former two involve a small number of physical sensors while the latter a large number of chemical/biological compounds/processes.

After several drawings the dog sleeping, I took on a new challenge of drawing it while it was awake (and thus constantly moving).

Quick sketch of a sleeping dog
The pug (sitting for a friend) appears to be sleeping all the time; I don’t know how that is biologically possible but it did make a good deadline companion.
