I was trying to throw away this toothpaste tube after it couldn’t be further squeezed any more before spotting it as an interesting drawing subject.

I spotted this little guy on a warm Sunday afternoon, sketched it, and cleaned it up.

I salvaged this spider submerged at the bottom of a bathtub thinking it was dead, but it managed a last jump before its final breath.

Saw this news photo which made an excellent source for gesture drawing.

We know how to represent light and sound but not smell, taste, and touch, probably because the former two involve a small number of physical sensors while the latter a large number of chemical/biological compounds/processes.

A crumpled paper bag caught my attention, which later I found out to be a good drawing exercise.

After several drawings the dog sleeping, I took on a new challenge of drawing it while it was awake (and thus constantly moving).
I made the eyes too human-like.

The pug (sitting for a friend) appears to be sleeping all the time; I don’t know how that is biologically possible but it did make a good deadline companion.
